Head - Social Media and Digital Content, Uber

An army kid, I had the privilege of growing up in all parts of the country before settling down in Delhi. After completing my bachelor's in Business Studies from DU, I started my professional career as an auditor at KPMG. After a short sting in auditing, I realised my calling was in advertising and ended up joining Interactive Avenues, a relatively unknown start-up in digital. I started my journey at IA in servicing where I led brands like Coca-Cola, RB, SONY, Micromax, Royal Enfield, Gionee, JLF amongst many more. Soon after, I moved to a strategic role where I was running digital and content strategy for key north India clients including Coke. I won more than 50 awards in my 8 year stint at IA. After IA, I moved to Uber where I'm leading the digital content and social media verticals. This includes both rider and driver side marketing efforts. At Uber, we believe in the power of content over advertising and have developed some amazing IPs like Uber Journeys to display powerful human stories around the brand. We've also worked a lot with partners to create compelling true-to-platform narratives to take the Uber messaging forward.
