Madhavi Irani

Madhavi has been one of the founding members of Nykaa and has been instrumental in shaping the content, communication and design strategy of the site

In her current role she oversees multiple content rich offerings at Nykaa such as the digital magazine - Beauty Book, the online interactive beauty forum powered by user generated content - Nykaa Network, branded and expert video content – Nykaa TV, she also leads the site curation, discovery and engagement metrics via Buying Guides, Monthly Stores and Routine Finder

Prior to Nykaa, she worked with a Hyderabad-based health and wellness portal, www.wellinformed.in as Vice President, Content Management

A veteran journalist with over three decades of experience spanning India and overseas, she has worked in leading Indian newspapers including The Telegraph, Times of India, The Independent, and The Economic Times, besides international organizations such as USAID, Africa Innovation Foundation and International Women of Istanbul

Madhavi did her post-graduate diploma in Journalism at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (1986) and Bachelor of Science (with Honors) from Lady Brabourne College, Calcutta University and majored in Botany, with Zoology and Chemistry (1982-1985)
