Sameen is a content professional with 9+ years of experience in brand and marketing content as well as content for public relations and leadership communication. She is passionate about creating impactful, helpful and interactive content.
Currently, Sameen heads Content and Public Relations for Housr - India’s first mega co-living brand. She is among the first 20 employees of the company and has been involved in building content for the company from ground zero.
Before Housr, Sameen led Communications and Content for Bertelsmann owned Majorel in India. She played an instrumental role as a part of the 8-member brand team in the global rebranding of the company from Arvato across 28 countries.
Sameen has also led content for the popular Indian decacorn, OYO and served as the company CEO’s ghostwriter. In her role, she launched multiple products for the B2C and B2B audiences including OYO Townhouse, OYO for Business, OYO Nepal and OYO Malaysia. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Official OYO Blog.
Before shifting to the corporate side, Sameen worked as a journalist with organizations like the Times of India where she was the lead reporter for Gurgaon Times and was on the editorial desk of Delhi Times, and NewsX where she handled the production of prime-time shows in the capacity of a rundown producer.
Sameen holds a post-graduate degree in Journalism from Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai.
