Education and Distribution Development, leads the organization’s effort towards the investor education & distribution development.
Mr Rao has taken Financial Literacy and Investor Education as a mission and reaching out to various segments across the geographies with innovative ideas to inculcate savings a habit. He is instrumental in developing many innovative initiatives like Nivesh Paathshala, Nivesh Mahakumbh, Fauji Nivesh, Police Nivesh, Nivesh Abhiyaan, Fiscal Fitness workshops for corporate & Digital initiatives like - Investor Hangouts reached out to over 7 lakhs investors, Smart Selfie, Mutual fund assist (Google assist) to name the few. He was also instrumental in developing unique modules like - My First Investments,My First Finance lessons & My First Pay Cheque. Samriddhi in-house magazine created to educate passengers of Shatabdi & Rajdhani train passengers, reached out to over 40 lakh passengers till date. He took financial goal planning to 200 plus towns in India by creating 10K certified goal planners in association with American Academy of Financial Management.
These initiatives helped his fund house to win many more accolades and awards in India & abroad like the best of the best of the best fund house award in Investor Education from Asia Asset Management for the year 2017 & 2019 & Innovative approach to Investor Education from Outlook Money. He is working closely with many of educational institutions, universities and media partners. During the last four years, Mr Rao and team conducted over 5000 out-reach programs under “Jaanoge Tabhi Toh Maanoge “banner and reached out to few lakhs of investors with various initiatives under his leadership. He is also a member of Financial Literacy committee (Out-reach) of Association of Mutual Fund Industry (AMFI), member of Advisory committee – School for Investor Education & Financial Literacy, member of Mutual Fund Examination Committee at National Institute of Securities Market (NISM)
An alumnus of IIM – Calcutta. Rao is an MBA Finance, Chartered Wealth Manager (American Academy of Financial Management), Post graduate diplomas in Portfolio Management & International Business and graduated in Dairy Technology.
