Has served as Business Head of Hinduja Group's content business, Business Head & Country Manager of Bajaj Herbals, CEO of Association of Motion Pictures & TV Programme Producers Association and CEO of Prakash Jha Productions. Currently, Ashish is Chief Marketing Officer for Hero Realty ( Hero Enterprise). Chief Creative Officer & Founder of Folklore Entertainment which has produced a first research-based documentary and research monograph on the 13 forgotten women of Kashmir tracing a journey of nearly 5,000 years. This is the first research based audio visual and monograph based documentation of the unique history and glory of the Kashmiri women – made for Indira Gandhi Centre for Arts under Ministry of I&B. Folklore Entertainment is also bringing out 4 major books with Gender, lost legacies of Kashmir and Historic women role models and social issues as its core. Ashish is also an eminent advocacy columnist with focus on terrorism in Kashmir and other social issues around children and women. His articles appear across prestigious publications and news media. Above all, Ashish is also a bestselling author with 4 books by largest publishers of India and a Research monograph by Ministry of Culture to his credit. His books like Didda The Warrior Queen, Refugee Camp, StreeDesh, RakhtGulab have been released by the megastar Amitabh Bachchan, I&B Minister, External Affairs Minister and The HRD Minister of India.

Ashish is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards including commendation by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India and Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra.
