Shankar Jadhav is Managing Director of BSE Investments, the holding arm of BSE and the Chief Strategy Officer at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Asia’s oldest stock exchange, the world’s largest with more than 5700 entities listed and also the world’s fastest exchange with a response time of 6 microseconds.
Shankar also leads the Marketing & Corporate Communications, Legal Commercial, Business Responsibility & infrastructure such as Data Centers at BSE.
Shankar Jadhav has served as a Director on Boards of Bank of India Shareholding Ltd., and is serving on the boards of BFSI Sector Skill Council, Marketplace Technologies, Marketplace Tech Infra Services, Marketplace Ebix Technology Services Private Limited, BSE CSR Integrated Foundation and is the Managing Director of BSE Investments Ltd.
He is also a member of committees & working groups at the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), FICCI, India International Exchange, BSE International Clearing Corp, IMC, etc. and been on the advisory panels such as Interpol World, CEO GBCI and is also on the top 100 CXO list and among the top 100 influential leaders in the industry. His contribution in marketing, cyber world and strategy execution has been recognized and has received awards.
With over two decades experience in MNCs & leading companies in Infrastructure like Telecom/Energy/IT, Consumer Goods & Financial services he has served as CEO/Advisor/Mentor as well as Board member. His significant contribution is recognized along with the team that brought about the telecom revolution and mobile internet in India.
He has trained over 2000 students in full courses including senior executives and Board Directors over the past two decades. He has also been invited to speak at various conferences and seminars on various subjects such as Strategy, Leadership, Cybersecurity, Identity Theft, Forensics, Law, Fintech, etc.
Shankar is a B. Tech (Elec Engg) from IIT Bombay and MBA (Finance & Marketing) from IIM Ahmedabad. He is a Lead Assessor certified by BSIQA - UK and a Chartered Engineer.
