An Ex-student of DPS RK Puram, N.Delhi, she is a graduate from Lady Shri Ram College with Hons. In English in 1994 and went on to study for an MBA in Marketing, class of 1996 at FORE School of Management, N. Delhi.
She possesses over 22 years of work experience in large MNC organizations like Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Dabur India, Philips Electronics and Avon Cosmetics in the area of skincare, personal- care, nutrition and healthcare; she led HUL’s first foray into healthcare with the launch of brand AYUSH in 2002 – a multi- category Ayurvedic brand which is now being relaunched in the marketplace; with Philips as category leader for home appliances she pioneered the health & nutrition positioning in the kitchen appliances domain; her last corporate assignment was as Chief Marketing Officer leading turn-around of the business at Vishal Mega Mart as part of the leadership team of the American PE firm, TPG. Her diverse experience across sales, marketing and brand strategy has given her robust understanding of Indian consumers across industry segments, demographics and geographies.
Bringing this expertise onboard, she leads her Brand Strategy Consulting firm Fourth Dimension Experience Inc. to support organizations and brands with their requirements of crafting content driven brand strategy based on persuasive and compelling insights. She has worked on Strategic Marketing and Brand Building assignment for numerous start-ups as well as large organizations like Philips, Marico and XSEED Education. She is currently engaged in the capacity of Consulting CMO for an innovative US based Retail Technology firm – ISS Retail, a sister concern of E3 Retail, making a foray into India.
An erstwhile active sportsperson (played Badminton at the National level), she is a hobby cyclist today. An innovation enthusiast, she truly believes an integrated approach to fitness in early childhood can help achieve healthier, happier lifestyle in future! Towards achieving this vision of helping parents and schools meet fitness & health goals for their children, she has co-founded Future Fit LLP, India’s largest private Gymnastics Academy for children, where she leads business development and brand building to drive scale and profitability for this venture. https://in.linkedin.com/in/vitikasbanerjee
