For over 21 years, Amit Tiwari has proved a key thought leader in the MarTech space. He understands and adapts technology faster and is also keen on experimenting and exploring new technology and new ventures in marketing. He has completed a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence for leaders from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in PGPMAX from the Indian School of Business. In his career, Amit has driven some of the most visible and successful transformations of Marketing with a focus on Digital & eCommerce. He connects with consumers through a platform-neutral, omnichannel approach. He has transformed his career from traditional marketing to hi-tech marketing leadership.
As the present Global Head of Marketing Demand Centre of Tata Consulting Services, Amit leads MarTech strategy and operations to support the business and marketing objectives. He shows the capture, review, and prioritization of MarTech project requirements. He leads the specification, communication, and continuous evolution of planned MarTech deliverables and priorities to meet business objectives and drive the success of TCS. Before joining TCS, Amit held key leadership positions for global, complex organizations like Havells India, Philips Global, Hero Honda, Perfetti, Nestle India, ITC and many more.

Just a few of Amit's key results include:

  • Established product life cycle management focused on innovation, identified product need-gap, generated ideas for innovation, feasibility study for New Products, and GTM Strategy. (Havells)
  • Played an essential leadership role to take the Havells brand to feature in Brand Equity's Top 75 Most Valuable Indian Brands by "Economic Times."
  • Transformed the thought process from "more digital to 100% digital" and entire business flow digitally by ushering in the era of e-commerce. (Havells)
  • Led the final Product launch of Lloyd Refrigerator and Havells Water Purifier & Personal Grooming range.
  • Built frameworks for understanding Consumer Digital Journey (CDJ) across all categories Philips India.
  • Improved 'Most Trusted Brand' ranking of Philips India from 136 to 85 in 2014.
  • Originated the drafting and implementation of the digital roadmap for Philips India in 2013

Earlier in his career, he developed strategic initiatives, managed marketing, communications, and public relations, launched communications programs and innovative marketing campaigns, and built organizational brand awareness and image based on corporate objectives.
    He strongly believes in agility and adaptability. He contributes to business success by knowing the customer and consumer centricity. Agile Marketing roles perfectly suit Amit as he has a knack for understanding and absorbing customers faster and providing a viable solution. He actively participates in different forums to learn and decipher knowledge from a MarTech perspective.
