Divya began her career in retail at the inception of the industry and launched merchandise and space selling revenue streams as business scale up when none in the industry were inclined towards it. Post retail she moved to broadcast and had the opportunity to launch and sustain UTVi- a broadcast channel with Ronnie Screwvala and see it flourish into one of the major business news names in the market. Then she was called upon to launch Tata Docomo, the telecom brand and did it with a revolutionary proposition of 'Pay Per second" while the telecom players were working with "Pay Per Minute". It helped achieve 3X subscriber number against the targets within the first year. She has also been a part of the music industry as brand and publishing both; At Saregama, showcased 15% growth in unit sales YOY and handled Content monetization growth. At Percept, she headed Marketing for Sunburn and grew Onground attendance 125% growth YOY that led to revenue enhancement.

One of her biggest career highlights was entering the OTT field with Zee5 and launching it with multiple languages and 20 Zee5 Originals on the same day, as well as launching Karenjit Kaur, their first original that led to humongous subscription growth. Today, it is one of the biggest locally developed OTT platforms in the country available at a global level across multiple countries with several critically acclaimed shows under its belt. Post that she took charge at ALTBalaji and showcased 100% growth in Direct Revenue YOY from 2018-2021 as is published in their Stock Exchange reports as well while handling cost optimisation across departments. The last feather over there was launching their AVOD Business on the back of a successful SVOD Business with the multi cam setup reality show "Lock Upp" with Kangana Ranaut.
