Padmaja is a senior Retail & Textile professional having 26 years experience in Textile & Retail world. She is one of the founder of The Shilp Store & Aksha Asian Weaves, supporting and focusing on the sustainable fashion, Handloom weaves and Women Empowerment initiatives and is in the business that balance purpose & profit. She is keen endorser of sustainability among Brands & Retailers. A key player from the industry who is working on a common goal and inspiring her Peers by offering advice, consultation, guidelines and Recommendation encouraging Social Responsibility in the Fashion Industry along with the Handloom industry.

A strong supporter of Women's health, she is an active supporter of Breast Cancer foundation of Singapore & India Vision Foundation Initiative, working for Women empowerment.

She is Currently Heading Ishtara Jewellery as the Head of Marketing, Director of Toyer's Pte Ltd, The Shilp Store & Aksha Weaves, apart from this she is also heading the prestigious Indian Women's club which is nearing 75 years, as the President of The Kamala club, won many awards for her outstanding contribution to the community are,

*Winner of Shero Award, Women creating Change Makers by Breast Cancer of Singapore during International Womens Day 2022.
