Sidharth has been a part of the founding CXO team of Disney+ Hotstar, and leads the Marketing and D2C Growth at Disney+ Hotstar. Over the past 7 years, he has built Hotstar into India's largest D2C subscription business, as well as the largest premium video streaming platform in India. He has been a key force in Hotstar making India proud by setting and resetting multiple live streaming world records. Under his leadership, Hotstar has redefined both, brand-building as well as growth marketing for digital brands, and is today recognized globally as the leader in sports streaming consumer tech. Prior to joining Disney+ Hotstar, Sidharth led one of the largest retail categories for Amazon in the US, and introduced the first AI/ML-driven virtual shopping assistant way back in 2016, step-changing Amazon's category CX. He has also led Reckitt's flagship brand, Dettol, for North America, launching and successfully establishing Dettol in the personal care segment in the US, before playing a key role in building Reckitt's e-commerce business. He holds an MBA degree from Cornell University in the US, and a BE from Pune University, India.
